Getting a State ID for the first time ever....

Yesterday, we went to DMV to get a State ID for me for the first time, eversince I got here in the US which was March last year, 2008. I could really see a whole lot of difference between this state and the state I previously lived which was South Carolina. When we went to Colorado DMV yesterday, everything went pretty smoothly compared to South Carolina where you gotta have to jump through loop holes before you get whatever you wanted, processed. Here, they only asked for my address and one ID and that's it, we're done. I am just so happy that I will get to have an ID other than my passport and greencard. Next stop is my driver's permit. My husband had been telling me to read the manual and take a written test later on but you know, I am the type of person who likes to procrastinate, lol. I should really try to get better at doing something at the appointed time for everything though because, I do really want to learn how to drive so it will be handy for me and my husband. It's hard when there's only one person in the family who knows how to drive. Sometimes, I am in a mood to go somewhere but my husband isn't and since, he's the driver, everything is always up to him.

Winter Season in Colorado: Loving the Snow!

It's been a while since I last posted something here. We were so busy moving and we got so caught up with all the things that needed to be done while we were still in South Carolina and I thank God that everything went well.
We got here in Colorado last Monday and two days later, we found a great apartment and so far, we are loving it. Three days ago, I saw snow for the first time ever. It was nice but pretty cold. I think moving to a place like Colorado is pretty expensive in a way that you really have to have a great quality coat or else you won't have fun going outside. The thing is, great quality coats are usually expensive but you get to use it for years if you are good at taking really great care of them.

Right now, we're just hanging out, get some stuffs done, since we still have a lot of things to do in the house. The other night, I got our christmas tree up. We had to put the tree in the corner between two couches because our baby wouldn't leave it alone.

I did my best decorating it though, I don't think that it will win in any christmas tree decorating competition but, it looks pretty decent enough in our house for this christmas. What matters the most is, the presents under it, lol. It's just so amazing how fast time flies by; this month, we will be celebrating christmas again. I will be spending two weeks thinking about what present should I give to my husband. One thing that everybody should know about me is that I am not really good at giving presents. Usually, I get gift cards because I think that's the easiest option..

Anyways, it is really nice here in Colorado. The people are nice and the thing that I love most about this place is the outdoor stuff. There's a lot of things that I wanna do here. I want to go skiing for the first time and I am just so excited about it!
