A Terrible Spring Season

Before we moved here in Colorado from South Carolina, one of the things that my husband talked me into moving here is the really great seasons in Colorado especially the spring. When we were still in South Carolina, we handled all the seasons really well including the allergy season which is the spring. But now, after we got back home from our Philippines vacation, all of us were welcomed by a bad allergy and worse is that we were all bedridden for days. I never had any allergies before until we moved here.

It was Tuesday when we all went to Walmart to get groceries. On our way there, we could already see lots of pollens on the windshields but we ignored it because we never thought that those were the kind of pollens our body would react to. Inside the store my husband could already feel the allergic reaction when he started sneezing and his eyes were red. He took an allergy medicine at the store but it didn't really help a lot. On our way home, my nose was running . My eyes was also teary and I had a headache. I could see my baby at the back experiencing the same thing, so we hurriedly drove back home before anything else  happen because they said that allergies could get bad and I was more afraid for my husband  because he's the one who seemed to have a really bad allergy and he's the one who was driving the car since I can't drive yet.

When we got home, I checked the pollen status in our area and guess what,  the pollen that time was high. It said that the pollen will stay on high until Saturday and it was Tuesday. So the next days, we were just home bedridden and bored. We wanted to go out but we couldn't because of this whole pollen situation. So, I thought the season is worst than a bad winter. This is not the spring that I looked forward to. Hopefully it gets better or it'll be a bad first spring experience for us here in Colorado.
